Measure
Inside Mount (width)
Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom of the window. Use the smallest measurement. For a flushed fit the depth of the window should be at least 2 3/4″ deep.
Outside Mount (width) Measure to outer most part of the window, including any moldings or grills to provide full coverage of the window.
Inside Mount (height) Measure the height at the left, middle and right of the window. Use the longest measurement. (For verticals use the shortest measurement)
Outside Mount (height) Measure the height to top edge of the molding or burglar bar to the bottom edge of the molding or burglar bar. Be sure the measurements are big enough to clear any fixed window fittings.
*Please note: If there are any fixtures within the frame or on the surface of the window i.e. burglar bars, it will be necessary for the blinds to be outside mounted.
