Dropshade System
The Dropshade System is an oversized exterior roller shade designed for large openings. It provides effective sunlight and glare protection while allowing ventilation.
This system is intended for sun control and privacy. It is not designed for rain or strong wind protection, and it should be retracted during such conditions to preserve the fabric and operating components.
Fabric Options
Dropshades use roller shade screen fabrics, allowing heat reduction and glare control while maintaining outward visibility.
Blackout fabrics are not recommended for exterior dropshade applications.
Zip Shade Option
A Zip Shade is a variation of the dropshade system where the fabric runs within enclosed side channels. This provides a more secure hold and improved wind resistance compared to standard cable or rod-guided systems.
