Roller Shades
Roller Shades are a practical and versatile window treatment designed to control light, reduce glare, and enhance privacy. They are available in a wide range of blackout, dim out, and screen fabrics, making them suitable for both residential and commercial spaces.
Depending on the fabric selected, roller shades can be used indoors or outdoors and are ideal for bedrooms, living areas, offices, and sun-facing rooms.
Blackout & Decorative
Blackout materials block most light from entering the room and provide excellent privacy. Vinyl blackout fabrics are simple, durable, and economical, making them ideal for high-traffic areas and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Decorative blackout options offer a softer, warmer appearance while still effectively reducing light.
Dim Out Fabric
Dim out fabrics reduce light while still allowing a soft glow into the room. They offer a balance between light control and brightness and provide good daytime privacy, though they are not intended for full blackout.
Screen Fabrics
Screen fabrics significantly reduce glare, filter UV rays, and help absorb heat while maintaining outward visibility. These fabrics are ideal for sun-facing rooms, living areas, studies, and spaces with a view. Screen fabrics are mildew-resistant, fire-resistant, and easy to maintain, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The percentage refers to how much light passes through the fabric.
- 0.5% – 1%: Very high privacy with minimal light entering the room (room darkening, not blackout)
- 3%: Balanced natural light with daytime privacy
- 5%: Solar control that reduces heat and glare while maintaining outside views
- 8%: Maximum daylight and visibility with minimal privacy
Screen fabric reduce light and glare but do not provide total blackout.
